Helping residents communicate their outreach preferences while encouraging respectful neighborhood engagement between residents, businesses, and organizations.
Quiet Neighborhoods is not a government agency or enforcement organization. Participation is voluntary and designed to encourage community cooperation.
About Us
Quiet Neighborhoods was created under SCV Village as a community volunteer initiative designed to help residents communicate their outreach preferences while encouraging respectful communication standards throughout our neighborhoods.
As residential solicitation activity continues to increase, many residents have expressed concerns regarding repeated door knocking, aggressive sales practices, and unwanted disturbances at their homes. At the same time, businesses and organizations still need responsible ways to communicate with local communities.
Quiet Neighborhoods was created to help bridge that gap through voluntary resident participation, respectful outreach standards, business cooperation, community awareness, and neighborhood engagement.
Our mission is to support peaceful neighborhoods by helping residents communicate outreach preferences while encouraging respectful engagement standards among businesses, solicitors, organizations, and community outreach groups.
What We Do
Maintain a voluntary residential outreach preference registry for residents who prefer limited or alternative contact.
Encourage respectful outreach standards that reduce repeated door knocking and unwanted neighborhood disturbances.
Invite businesses and organizations to voluntarily review resident preferences and use alternative outreach methods.
Work with HOAs and neighborhood groups to educate residents and collect community participation.
Quiet Neighborhoods is an independent community initiative operated under SCV Village and is not a government agency or law enforcement organization. Participation in the Quiet Neighborhoods registry is voluntary. Registration does not create legal enforcement protections and does not prohibit lawful solicitation activities. The purpose of this initiative is to encourage respectful outreach practices and community cooperation.
Register Your Property
Residents may voluntarily register communication preferences through Quiet Neighborhoods.

Support the Initiative
Quiet Neighborhoods is gathering resident feedback and community participation to evaluate future opportunities for collaboration with municipalities, businesses, and neighborhood organizations.
Our long-term goal is to encourage respectful outreach standards and future consideration of Residential Outreach Preference Programs within local communities.
